Garden and Bird Haven has featured in the Waiheke Garden Festival, showcasing camelias, azaleas, hibiscus, wisteria, and even a young kauri tree. Bossy tuis roam the gardens along with an abundance of butterflies and bees. It truly is a haven, a paradise and a place of peace.

The house has all that you need to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The living and lounge area flows seamlessly from the fully equipped kitchen to decks that frame the view. There is a timeless sense of summer. You are welcome to choose between the sun-drenched Queen suite or the King suite—which includes an additional day bed—both offering breathtaking vistas.

When you choose to venture out, Palm Beach is a mere 1.5 kms or a 15 mins walk downhill. You could hire a SUP by the store and enjoy easy access to the beautiful waters of the bay, then feast at the fabulous Arcadia restaurant. A 10-minute walk will take you to Palm Beach Resort where you can indulge in the pool, bar and restaurant. For more action, at Ostend, you’ll find the Farmers Market on Saturdays, the local supermarket, takeaways, coffee shops and a liquor outlet. Vineyards, cafes and restaurants are just a short drive away from this most central of locations. Māwhitipana Ridge Estate, just next door, offers wine tastings of its premium Syrah and Marsanne wines.

Located upstairs with a king bed and a single day bed, bedside tables and lamps.

Shower with toilet, vanity and mirror, heated towel rail and heated floor. 

Kitchen:
Kitchen, with fridge freezer and microwave, dishwasher drawer, electric oven and gas hob, and pod coffee maker.

Lounge:
Seating for six, freeview TV, Bluetooth speaker, and record player, heat pump.

Dining area:
Seating for six to eight.

Laundry:
Washing machine located in the bathroom. All linen and cleaning included.

Outdoor Facilities:
Sun drenched decks with wide views, seating for eight, table, chairs and umbrella provided,4 burner BBQ, off road parking for two cars. Two boogie boards available.

Close-by Attractions:
15-minute walk to Palm Beach. A short drive or 55-minute walk to Oneroa Beach and village with a variety of shops, banks, the post office, petrol station, cafes & restaurants. The village also includes various Art Centres, a Four Square superette, Fruit & Veg shops and 2 liquor stores. A 20-minute walk to Ostend where you will find the supermarket, farmers' market, shops, cafes and liquor store.

Only 10-minute drive to the passenger ferry located at Matiatia and approximately 8-minute drive to the car ferry at Kennedy Point.
