The Lighthouse

Situated just above the bay on Matiatia Harbour, The Lighthouse sits on a 3 ha coastal block enjoying sea views of the entire bay and back to Auckland City. Enjoy the outdoor private salt water swimming pool or indoor spa pool, go kayaking, BBQ or just lounge on the decks. There are three double bedrooms, one single bedroom and three lounges; the piano lounge, the bar lounge and the winter lounge. In additional there is a deck around the lighthouse structure upstairs with beautiful views if you need to get away from it all.
Huge kitchen and pantry. A house big enough to congregate together or find your own space. Easy one minute private track walk to Matiatia Beach. Pheasants, quail, kingfishers, tui, wood pigeons … there’s no shortage of island wildlife on this bush clad coastal site.

Master Bedroom with King bed, en suite with shower, bath, vanity, heated floor & towel rail and separate toilet. Hairdryer supplied  Bedroom 2: King bed. Bedroom 3: Queen bed with built in single bed. Bedroom 4 has a single bed with a roll out single bed.

The ensuite bathroom has a shower, vanity, heated towel rail, underfloor heating and seperate toilet.  The 2nd bathroom has a bath, shower, vanity, heated towel rail and a seperate toilet. Separate room with an indoor spa.

Kitchen:
Modern designer kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, 5 burner gas hob, and electric oven, fridge/ freezer with ice maker, two sinks, granite bench tops, coffee plunger, panini maker and stickmaster.

Lounge:
Open plan lounge, with stunning views over Matiatia. opens out into the dining room and bar area off the kitchen. Seating in lounge for 9. Large flatscreen Phillips 54" Plasma TV with FREEVIEW, Stereo and WIFI internet.  Indoor outdoor flow to decks and down to the outdoor swimming pool. Expansive seaviews from every seat in the lounge. Bernstein piano sets up this lounge for entertaining.

TV Room/2nd lounge: 
Facing north gets all the sun. Large flatscreen 42" Plasma TV, with MYSKY, 2 large couches and 2 armchairs with seating for 8 in front of a wood fireplace.

Bar Lounge:
A built in bar with fridge. An entertainers delight. Mix up a treat and then relax in 2 couches nearby to take in the views.

Dining room:
Large table seating for 8 with views over Matiatia, adjacent to the bar/lounge. All open plan.

Laundry:
Bosch Washer and front loading dryer. Premium linen and cleaning included. Iron and ironing board.

Outdoor facilities:
Outside decks run with plenty of outdoor furniture, to take in the comings and goings of the boats from Matiatia. Salt water swimming pool for those hot days, great for the kids and to cool off. BBQ. Carport, 2 kayaks with paddles and lifejackets are here to use to explore Matiatia bay and beyond. Maybe a spot of fishing? There is an attached apartment at the back of the house adjoined behind the carport. There is a permanent tenat in this apartment. All the living area is at the front of the main house.

Closeby attractions:
Mudbrick Vineyard, Cable Bay vineyard, Peninusula Estate. A 15 min walk into Oneroa Village - shops and restaurants inclu. The Oyster Inn, Sand Bar, Fenice, Wai Kitchen, The Red Crab, Vino Vino, Oneroa Art centre, Four Square supprette, 2 liquor stores and Oneroa beach. Walk along the foreshore to the passenger ferry. 10 min drive to the car ferry. Many walk ways close by, or just explore the 3 hectares the property is on.
