10 min walk to little Oneroa Beach. A short drive or 15 min walk into Big Oneroa Beach and village with a variety of shops, banks, the post office, gas station, cafes & restaurants. The village also includes various Art Centres, a Four Square supprette, Fruit & Veg shops and 2 Liquor stores. Oneroa is the only place you will find ATM machines.

Only 5 minute drive to the passenger ferry located at Matiatia and approximately 10 minutes to the car ferry at Kennedy Point.

• We leave The Lannon house and wedding party and swapped it out for something a little smaller. This little hide away was exactly what we needed. we woke to a stunning view every morning and sat on the sundrenched deck in the evenings. Richard was waiting for a part for the spa so it wasn't working which was a shame, but this was quickly remedied with a lovely voucher for the Oyster Inn which we enjoyed immensely. Thank you so much, we would certainly consider staying again.

Richard had the heater and lights on for our arrival in the evening and the glorious spa on the deck underneath the stars was at temp and so relaxing after a busy day of travel. • We loved our stay here. It was about a 7 min drive to town, too far to walk, but in a very quiet and serene residential neighbourhood which was a nice break from the city life in Auckland. The back deck was beautiful, west facing and completely enclosed by trees with a little view of the ocean. The place felt very much like a beach house. Nice decor inside as well to match the vibe. Definitely an awesome place to stay on Waiheke and would stay here again.

• This GORGEOUS bach on Burrell road is everything we could have asked for and more. The views, the views, the views - unbelievably stunning!! Absolutely wonderful coming home after a day of wine tasting to get to continue enjoying the beautiful bay. About 5 min drive to shops at Oneroa and less than 15 mins to many of the top wineries on waiheke (Goldie, Mudbrick, etc.). everything was tidy and the space was well set up as a small studio. Fantastic water pressure for the large shower, and loved the large glass doors that opened the bedroom & living room directly to the deck. The spa was a delightful place - you can't do better than a glass of local waiheke wine while watching the bay as the sun goes down! Richard had fantastic local suggestions and stopped by to give us a warm hello as well. Would absolutely recommend this to any traveller or duo for their stay in Waiheke - we hope to return soon!!

• We loved our stay here. Had so many plans to go and do things on the island, but ended up barely leaving the bach due to how great it was. Has everything you need, easy to get into and the local taxi services are very familar with the place. I would recommend bringing a car or hiring a car to accessing things on the island as the taxis did add up. Cant fault the location of the bach though. Ricahrd was friendly, easy to communicate with and provided great recommendations ! Thanks for a great stay. We loved it and plan on coming back soon

• Our stay here was the last 2 nights of a 4-week NZ holiday, the rest traveling by camper van on the South Island. We were looking for a nice location to "finish off" this visit. Turned out to be the perfect spot. Fantastic views for an evening glass of wine and a morning cup of coffee. In spite of being close to houses on either side, the location and plants made for perfect privacy. And the fully-opening window/doors allowed the whole place to feel like it was outside. We didn't use much of it, but the kitchen was very well equipped. The bathroom spacious and clean. The bed very comfortable. A little tricky to find, but just had to follow Richard's excellent directions. We enjoyed the walk to the nearby restaurants for dinner one night, and a light meal on the deck the other. Turned out to be a perfect spot for us, and exceeded our expectations. Not sure if we'll ever get back, but if we do, this will be our spot! Thanks for hosting.

• We had the most amazing getaway at Bach on Burrell! It is such a peaceful oasis, with a true indoor/outdoor setup where we could fold open the large glass doors to join the deck and indoor areas into one beautiful space. We enjoyed the brand new hot tub on the deck overlooking the sea, as well as a large TV for a movie night indoors. The bed was so comfortable that we slept for 11 hours the first night we were there! We were able to walk to cafes, wineries, and to the adorable downtown area — no car needed. Host was responsive and helpful as well. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet escape!

• A lovely place to stay for two on Waiheke. Great communication, clean and safe spot. There is a track down to Blackpool beach which we walked down multiple times a day, and an easy walk from there to Oneroa or Surfdale. The track is a bit steep and rickety, so wouldn’t do it with kids, at night or carrying a lot of things but was a really nice shortcut to other spots on the island. We will be back!!

• 'Worth staying at this bach for the view alone. Very comfortable space for a couple to spend a few days, great location, well furnished - simple, but stylish. Enjoyed cooking out on the grill and eating on the balcony. Great spot for a stay on the island. Would recommend. NB - driveway is a little steep and may not be suitable for cars with low clearance.'

I think the best part though was the view! We loved waking up with that view during our stay, and even saw Dolphins one morning. It was just all perfect. Richard was a wonderful host, and even stopped by to show us some of his favorite things to do on the island. We would absolutely stay again! One note for travelers, only because we had some set backs, is be sure to book your ferry ride over a day or two before. We didn’t, and had to wait for a later ferry to get over from Auckland. They fill up quick!
