There are some beautiful walks in the area as well as a playground at Palm Beach and free bbq facilities.  Palm Beach is a beautiful sandy beach - safe swimming so good for kids, great snorkeling, diving and home to plenty of boats in summer.  If the wind is blowing in from the north you can get some good surf, but generally the water is calm
