Description

Perfect for a relaxing holiday by the sea! This classic Waiheke bach is nestled within mature native bush and so close to the ocean you can hear the whisper of waves as they caress the shore. Here you have peace and privacy in the most romantic of settings. Little Oneroa beach is within reach when you venture forth, inviting you to a daily dip or a stroll along the golden sands, while the children play in the nearby playground. Ice creams and fish and chips and dragon fired pizzas await at your doorstep. Welcome to Paradise!

This house offers 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 5 guests. It is private yet close to village amenities and in walking distance to the bus stop: handy for those keen to catch the all-day vineyard tours.

Here you can wake to the songs of the Tui, the Kaka and the Kereru who nest in the tall trees that shelter the house. You may even hear the Morepork at dusk. You can easily walk into Oneroa village where you will find cafes, fine dining, artisan shops and galleries. Vineyards are within easy reach. For the more adventurous, fishing, swimming and kayaking are on hand at both Oneroa and Little Oneroa beaches.

Testimonials

  • A fabulous wee traditional Bach offering the most tranquil relaxing setting, within two minutes walk to Little Oneroa Beach, and a ten minute walk into Oneroa shops. Felt like home the minute we entered. Offered everything we needed for a comfortable four night stay.
    Donna Shaloe, Dec 2024
  • This is an old school type of bach - it's nothing fancy, small rooms, small kitchen, old bathroom (if having a good shower is important, this place has barely any pressure). Great deck outside. Fantastic location a minute's walk to one of the best beaches on Waiheke. You definitely pay for the location – not the fanciness of the house. But I would book again just for that. Great to be able to have our dogs there, but note it is not fenced and there are heaps of birds and ducks about. Could be an idea to bring your own fan as there's just the one in the house and it's extremely hot during the summer. So it's a great place if you like a basic place. Thanks for having us.
    Shannon Williams, Dec 2024
  • We had a great stay, super close to beach, and great walk to all the shops and restaurants
    Minh Mguyen, Nov 2024
  • Nice and private spot that is clean and a walk away from town or the beach: We felt right at home, the instructions were easy and it was peaceful with beautiful surroundings.
    Billy Stackhouse, Nov 2024
  • Great little place, great location and the bed wasnt too soft which is also great. My only wee gripe is the shower pressure. But if thats the only thing then its a 9/10 from us
    Glenn Sharplin, Oct 2024
