The master bedroom has a Double bed, bed-side tables and lamps, and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2:
The second bedroom has two single beds, bed-side tables and lamp and chest of drawers.
Bathrooms: 1
The bathroom has a shower, toilet, hand basin, vanity, large and heated towel rails. Please note the bath is not to be used.
Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, fridge, freezer and coffee plunger
Lounge:
The open plan lounge area has seating for 6 with a two very comfortable sofas, CD player, and and a smart TV withNetflix. There is good cell phone coverage. The heatpump keeps the area warm in winter and cool, if needed, in summer.
Dining:
The indoor dining area accommodates 4.
Laundry:
There is a laundry with a washing machine and laundry tub, plus an outside clothes line. All linen is supplied, except beach towels. An iron, ironing board are included.
Outdoor facilities:
The deck is north facing with seating for 6. There is off-street parking for 1 car. The driveway is concreted and relatively steep with room to turn around at the top.

Closeby attractions:
Goodwin Getaway is just a short distance (650 metres) to the safe swimming beach of Little Oneroa! Head the other way to Fisherman's rock, along Queens Drive and down Newton Road, a mere 800 metres distant. There are many other beautiful walks close by. At low tide you can walk to the golden sands of Oneroa beach and from thee head up to the village where you will find cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, library and art galleries.
Goodwin Getaway is 3.6 km from the car ferry and 3.3 km from the passenger ferry servicing downtown Auckland.

- Goodwin Getaway was a lovely place to stay. Set in native bush with a lovely view towards Auckland it was peaceful and relaxing. The cottage has a light and peaceful feel about it and is beautifully decorated with an eclectic mix of beautifully curated art and ornaments. It’s a walkable distance to Little Oneroa beach and Hekarua Bay. It is near the top of a hill so it’s good to have some fitness if you plan on walking back and forth. We utilised the bus service as the cottage is only a minute’s walk to the 502 bus stop which takes you to the ferry, into Oneroa, Palm Beach and Ostend. Once we worked out the time table it was relatively easy to get around the island on the bus. Thank you to Richard for a lovely stay.
