Romance is here! The Jazz Loft is the perfect retreat for two, high above the Hauraki Gulf. Light and airy with spectacular views, this private loft offers comfort, warmth and inspiration. Perfectly positioned, it is a place of restoration. The sea brings solace and the birdsong that surrounds your eyrie replenishes. Leave the hustle and bustle behind and relax in this oasis of nature! From your cosy bed you can soak up the atmosphere; watch the waves while you plan your day! The golden sands of Onetangi beach scintillate and stretch out, only a 10 minute walk away, inviting that early morning swim. And the sunsets are glorious with the Coromandel providing the perfect backdrop.
Everything you need is close at hand. if you fancy a breathtaking zip through native forest just to waken the apetite, Ecozip Adventures is just 3km away. Onetangi has three fabulous restaurants right in front of the beach. You can take your pick from Charley Farleys, 372, and Ki Maha. The Four Square, fish and chip shop and liquor store are within easy reach, next to the service station. Awaroa Organic Winery is just under a kilometre up the road. Casita Miro, Obsidian Vineyard, Te Motu, Tantalus, Stoney Ridge and quite a few more are all within an easy drive. Wine and dine, swim and play, it/s all there in your backyard!
Access is via a staircase off the owners deck, no wheelchair access.

Lounge:
Comfortable lliving area with hear pump, outstanding views, wifi, board games, DVD player, stereo and flat screen TV.
Other things to note:
The loft is self catering. It is fully cleaned and serviced before your arrival and includes a limited quantity of tea coffee, sugar, and toilet rolls for your stay. If your stay is longer than 7 days your host will provide fresh linen and towels.
Outdoor Facilities:
North facing, private deck, with BBQ and outdoor furniture, overlooking Onetangi bay with sea views over Piemelon Bay to Coromandel Peninsular, Great and Little Barrier islands.

10 min walk to Onetangi Beach and 3 cafes/restaurants;
Adjacent to Piemelon Bay Road bus stop.
Forest and Bird Reserve. There are several walking tracks through the adjoining Forest and Bird Reserve.
5 minute drive to Ostend Village shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, supermarket and the famed Ostend Saturday farmers' market
There are many award winning vineyards, Casita Miro and Obsidean being only a few minutes drive away, as well as Eco Zip Adventures.
Only 15 minute drive to the passenger ferry located at Matiatia and approximately 10 minutes to the car ferry at Kennedy Point.

We decided to leave the car behind and use the buses to get around which worked out great for us because we love walking and hiking. The Jazz Loft was just as described, and the view from the loft was amazing. Very comfortable, peaceful and just what we needed at the end of my visit to New Zealand. This was also a last minute decision to take the ferry to Waiheke Island and so we are very grateful that Richard was able to accommodate us, Thank You! 5 Stars! Spotless furniture & linen, free of clutter, squeaky clean bathroom and looked like the photos.
