Nestled within spectacular native bush, this unique chalet offers peace and privacy in the most romantic of settings. Here you can wake to the song of the Kereru, Kaka and Piwakawaka, and at dusk you can sleep with the comforting and iconic call of the Morepork. The children will love the glow worms! This fully self contained chalet is close to the white sands of Onetangi Beach, as well as vineyards, restaurants, café's and the island's golf club and tennis courts. You can relax in this mature, broad-leaf forest or head out for adventure close at hand.

The galley kitchen features a microwave oven, electric hob, pots, pans, crockery glassware and cutlery, toaster and kettle. The bathroom has full size shower, vanity, heated towel rail and flushing toilet. The loft sleeping area has two single beds with a queen size bed downstairs. The TV has all the New Zealand Freeview channels. The TV also plays off a USB drive.

Other things to note:
The chalet is self catering. It is fully cleaned and serviced before your arrival and includes a limited quantity of tea coffee, sugar, flowing soap and toilet rolls for your stay. Further supplies will need to be arranged yourselves. If your stay is longer than 7 days your host will provide fresh linen and towels every 7 days. The used linen and towels must be returned to the owner. If you require the unit to be cleaned more frequently an extra cleaning fee will be charged. SKY TV, DVD player, Stereo, wireless internet access, and fireplace.

There is a parking bay for your use, adjacent to the path to the chalet

Close-by Attractions:
20 min walk to Onetangi Beach and cafes/restaurants; 10 minute walk to the bus stop. A short 5 min drive to the supermarket, local market and a variety of shops and cafes in Ostend . There are many vineyards in the area as well as Eco Zip Adventures within walking distance.

Only 15 minute drive to the passenger ferry located at Matiatia and approximately 10 minutes to the car ferry at Kennedy Point.
