  • “Our family of 5 stayed here for 4 nights in March. We had a lovely stay at Windchime..The home perfectly catered to our needs and we were warmly welcomed by our host. A bottle of wine on arrival and a tour of the house with lots of handy hints and suggestions to help us on our way. Lovely comfortable beds and all the creature comforts we needed.  The place was lovely and clean. The deck was a lovely place to relax and the children enjoyed the gardens and happily played in a nice quiet street. Having toys, a great selection of books, and some games was helpful for some rainy days. Communication was great - the phone call before hand, meeting us there and showing us around, some handy hints and a bottle of wine all helped us feel really welcome. Thank you for having us!! Great location!”                                                                                                                                  Kate Russell, Mar 2019

  • “Very much enjoyed our stay at this beach bach! When not exploring the island, we enjoyed hanging out in the TV room and having a glass of wine on the back deck. Wind chime has great access to black pool beach and a short walk to Oneroa town (shops, restaurants, and sandy, wavy beaches). My mom and sister enjoyed kayaking! I hiked up from black pool to one of the wineries! Great spot to walk along the shore and through many close by bush walks. Walking to dinner was such a plus too!”   Grace Galvin Mar 2017
