Palm Beach Lodge’s closest apartment to the beach, the Koru is a colorful Mediterranean-style oasis perched on a hillside on the warm northern coastline of Palm Beach. Enjoy “dress circle” ocean views from either of 2 spacious rooms, each with its own lounge, a north-facing deck and walk-in closet. This well-appointed Waiheke accommodation can comfortably accommodate 2 couples, 4 single guests or a family with 2 children. (A cot and high chair are available upon request.) A roll-away bed allows for an additional guest, and pets are welcome too!

You’re also perfectly positioned for island spotting: Little Barrier Island lies on the horizon, and the Noises and Tiri Tiri Matangi are to the left. On your right is Nani Island, and in the foreground are Palm Beach and the ever-present sound of the sea. A 3-minute walk down a zigzagging path through a subtropical garden leads you to Palm Beach, one of Waiheke’s loveliest, with pristine white sands and safe, calm seas suitable for swimming. There’s even a playground and complimentary BBQ facilities, making the Koru an extremely affordable way to indulge in a luxury holiday.

Both bedrooms come with lounge areas, so are very large, with King split beds (can be either double or 2 Single beds) and walk-in wardrobes.  Both of these rooms open out onto the expansive decks and overlook the stunning northern beach views. Rollaway bed available for additional guest

Fully landscaped garden oasis.  Off street parking.  Large north facing decks with outside table and chairs, shade umbrella, sun loungers and deckchairs.   Private gas BBQ.

Closeby attractions:
5 min walk to beautiful Palm Beach, Palm Beach Fish and Chip shop and covenience store. The Lookout Restaurant & Bar is located up the hill from Palm Beach. A 10 minute drive to the car ferry at Kennedy Point and approximately an 8 min drive to the passenger ferry located at Matiatia.
There are some beautiful walks in the area as well as a playground at Palm Beach and free bbq facilities.  Palm Beach is a beautiful sandy beach - safe swimming so good for kids, great snorkeling, diving and home to plenty of boats in summer.  If the wind is blowing in from the north you can get some good surf, but generally the water is calm.  At the far western end is “nudey bay” so if you fancy a skinny dip keep going west.

• Great view and spacious rooms including one from the bathroom. Koru is the lowest unit and nice and close to beach but then comes with some more steps to and from the car.

• This place is in an outstanding location, the view and deck are unreal. Just a five minute walk down to palm beach. The decor is kind of 80s themed which was fun. Richard had lots of great tips about local spots and was excellent to communicate with. Would definitely come back.

• "Beautiful views and a nice apartment. Loved being able to take our dog. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is the walk down to the unit from the car is very steep, and it was difficult to transport a lot of luggage. We had two people in our group with knee issues that found the walk quite taxing. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay."
