Palm Beach Lodge’s second-closest apartment to the beach, the Manuka is a colorful Mediterranean-style oasis perched on a hillside on the warm northern coastline of Palm Beach. Enjoy “dress circle” ocean views from either of 2 spacious rooms, each with its own lounge, a north-facing deck and walk-in closet. This well-appointed Waiheke accommodation can comfortably accommodate 2 couples, 4 single guests or a family with 2 children. (A cot and high chair are available upon request.) A roll-away bed allows for an additional guest, and pets are welcome too!

You’re also perfectly positioned for island spotting: Little Barrier Island lies on the horizon, and the Noises and Tiri Tiri Matangi are to the left. On your right is Nani Island, and in the foreground are Palm Beach and the ever-present sound of the sea. A 3-minute walk down a zigzagging path through a subtropical garden leads you to Palm Beach, one of Waiheke’s loveliest, with pristine white sands and safe, calm seas suitable for swimming. There’s even a playground and complimentary BBQ facilities, making the Manuka an extremely affordable way to indulge in a luxury holiday.

Both bedrooms come with lounge areas, so are very large, with King split beds (can be either double or 2 single beds) and walk-in wardrobes.  Both of these rooms open out onto the expansive decks and overlook the stunning northern beach views. Rollaway bed available for additional guest

Fully landscaped garden oasis.  Off street parking.  Large north facing decks with outside table and chairs, shade umbrella, sun loungers and deckchairs.   Private gas BBQ.

Closeby attractions:
5 min walk to beautiful Palm Beach, Palm Beach Fish and Chip shop and covenience store. The Lookout Restaurant & Bar is located up the hill from Palm Beach. A 10 minute drive to the car ferry at Kennedy Point and approximately an 8 min drive to the passenger ferry located at Matiatia.
There are some beautiful walks in the area as well as a playground at Palm Beach and free bbq facilities.  Palm Beach is a beautiful sandy beach - safe swimming so good for kids, great snorkeling, diving and home to plenty of boats in summer.  If the wind is blowing in from the north you can get some good surf, but generally the water is calm.

• We have loved staying at both of the units we have stayed in over the last couple of months. A absolute drawcard is having an apartment where we can bring our dog. Having found your accommodation we will not be looking for any alternative and hope to be frequent visitors. The unit suits our multigenerational needs, perfect view, easy beach access, high standard of cleanliness with all of the facilities we need. We have booked Manuka for next January and hope we will have another opportunity to visit before then.

• We are so grateful that our wee dog could be part of our family holiday. A combination of proximity to the beach and superb view meant that all of our different needs were satisfied. We have already booked to return with extended family next month and hope this property will be available next summer as we would love to come back!
