Windmill Cottage

Windmill Cottage is a sea-front property with direct access from the beach. It provides a unique environmental experience set in 10 acres of pristine native bush. This holiday home offers traditional, historic and artistic buildings nestled among beautiful gardens with a large collection of organic produce all thoughtfully created and nurtured over past 30 years by the original owners. 

Windmill Cottage is accessible to Mudbrick Vinyards while Oneroa Village is a 10 minute drive or a walk away on the beach. 
This well maintained native bush attracts a concentrate array of native bird life and those who feel like an adventure could fish off the rocks and have a play in our amphibious vehicles. We guarantee privacy offering an out of this world holiday, only minutes away form bustling Oneroa Village. 

The large Villa has a convenient Studio attached to it as well. This allows larger groups private living spaces and amenities such as separate sky TV, kitchen facilities and extra bathrooms. Both entrances open out onto the same spacious lawns surrounding the villa, sited near the original windmill generator which still partially powers the property. 

Rates apply to 4 people. Extra people are $60 per night each.

Bedrooms: 3
Master bedroom with Queen sized bed and ensuite. 2nd bedroom with Queen bed, and the 3rd (walk-through) bedroom with a Queen-sofa bed. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms with 2 Single beds and a Queen.

Sleeps: 4-10

Bathrooms: 2 upstairs and 1 downstairs
Ensuite off master bedroom, 2nd bathroom with shower and toilet. 3rd bathroom downstairs with a shower and toilet.

Kitchen:
Fully equipped kitchen, additional servicing may be offered by special arrangement. Small kitchenette downstairs.

Lounge:
Open plan lounge and dining room with Sky TV, internet, DVD player, stereo with IPOD jack, telephone, heat pump and air-conditioner.

Dining room:
Dining for up to 8.

Laundry:
Laundry facilities and all linen provided.

Outdoor facilities:
Expansive flat lawns with a patio deck and outside table and chairs. 360 degree views of Auckland and the greater Hauraki Gulf.
 
Closeby attractions:
Walks down to Wild bay, Church bay, Park point, Mudbrick Vineyard, Cable Bay Vineyard and Jurrasic Ridge Vineyeard. A 20 minute stroll into Oneroa Village with its shops and restaurants incl. The Oyster Inn, Sand Bar, Fenice, Wai Kitchen, Oneroa Beach Club, The Cove, The Red Crab, Vino Vino, Oneroa Art centre, Four Square supprette, 2 liquor stores as well as Oneroa beach.
10 min drive to the car ferry at Kennedy Point and a 2 min drive to passenger ferry.
Lots of bush and coastal walks close by.
